Jamaica's Renaissance Leads to First Luxury Beachfront Residential Community
Rose Hall Developments
and the Resort Properties Group announced plans today for The
Palmyra Resort & Spa at Rose Hall, the first luxury beachfront
condo hotel in Jamaica, leading the island's renaissance. Located
next to the Ritz-Carlton(R) on 16 acres of pristine waterfront
land in Montego Bay, The Palmyra offers unparalleled indulgence in
a quaint village setting. According to CNN, tourism throughout the
Caribbean is expected to increase 44 percent in 2005, offering The
Palmyra's residents a real estate investment that is sure to
appreciate as Jamaica regains its stature as a sought after
destination. Residents of The Palmyra will experience island-style
luxury living, privileged access to three
internationally-acclaimed golf courses, the White Witch, Cinnamon
Hill and Half Moon, and five-star amenities including The Palmyra
ESPA, a signature spa by award-winning designer Susan Harmsworth.
Bringing The Palmyra to life is
Rose Hall Developments, the company that masterfully planned the
7,000-acre community of Rose Hall Plantation, in partnership with
the Resort Properties Group, a highly-respected development
company with more than 20 years of expertise in creating
international luxury communities in Europe. The Rollins family,
owner of Rose Hall Developments, can be credited with catalyzing
Jamaica's revival, attracting public and private investments, and
improving the island through restoration, philanthropy and
infrastructure. Michele Rollins, attorney and former Miss USA,
oversees the development of the family's treasured land bought in
the 1970s by late American philanthropist John Rollins Sr.
The Palmyra will stretch along
one-half mile of Caribbean ocean and includes exclusive access to
the resort for second home owners and tourists looking for a
luxury condo rental opportunity. The real estate offering includes
26 villas, with prices from $1.6 to $2 million for 2,528 square
feet, and 504 one-, two- and three-bedroom condominium units from
716 to 2,181 square feet with prices from the mid $300s to $1.9
million for a penthouse unit. Groundbreaking for the first phase
of development, consisting of two condo buildings, The Palmyra
ESPA, infinity pool and beach is set for spring 2005, with the
project reaching completion in late 2006.
